President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has lauded the efforts of the nurses who have been in the frontline in the fight against the coronavirus. The president praised the nurses in a tweet today.

Today is the International Nurses Day and also the 201st Florence Nightingale Day.

“On the occasion of the International Nurses Day and 201st Florence Nightingale Day today, I would like to applaud the efforts, dedication and sacrifice that the nurses have made in caring for the patients who have been infected with the COVID-19,” President Bhandari tweeted.
