Police on Sunday evening arrested 3 youths from Jhapa Bazaar in Jhapa Rural Municipality-2 in possession of 530 milligrams of brown sugar and also recovered 2 sets of digital measurement scale, mobiles, and Rs 59,000 from them.

The arrestees have been identified as Roshan Bhujel (22) and Sajan Limbu (21), residents of Jhapa Rural Municipality-2, and Pratap Limbu, a 19-year-old resident of Sirijanga Rural Municipality-1 in Taplejung.

Security personnel deployed from the Kumorkhod-based Area Police Office arrested them.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
