Late night on July 31, Sindhupalchowk again faced a danger of flood as Melamchi’s water level rose.

It was barely a week after the last month’s devastating destruction that people at Sindhupalchok were trying to rebuild their life. But the flood has again destroyed numbers of houses, a police station and even Radio Melamchi’s Official building.

As stated by a source, “Flood has reached people’s houses with muddy slim texture and a police station at Talamarang has been forced to shift to another place.”

Flood has surpassed the Ratopul (Bridge) level; while the first time the water level was lower. But the flood still managed to destroy lots of houses and 5 people were found dead along with 15 still missing.
