‘Budokaido Full-contact Weight Group Competition‘ is taking place at Basantapur, Kathmandu district. The three-day competition has taken off from 28th October organised by ‘Shikhar Agro Industries Pvt Ltd’. 

The co-organiser of the competition is supported by ‘Kathmandu Metropolitan City and National Sports Council’.

There are around 100 to 150 participants in the competition who are participating from all over Nepal with weight divisions of 35 KG to 65 KG. The players are associated with the full-contact team. They got permission for the venue at Basantapur in coordination with the ‘Sinha Swan Khala’ committee.

The winner of the open competition will get one tola gold and the runner-up will win five tola silver. They will also get a cash prize of Rs 10000/5000/3000 for under 65 KG.

“The final of the competition is tomorrow,” informed referee Sanjib Yonjan.
