Chitra Bahadur KC, chairman of the ruling coalition partner Rashtriya Janamorcha, has protested against the police’s interference in a civil demonstration in Kathmandu on Sunday against the US aid project, MCC.

 In a statement issued here today, Chairman KC wished speedy recovery to the injured and stressed the need for the government to make arrangements for their treatment.

 He said in a statement that his party had opposed the MCC agreement from the beginning.
