The symbolism of Holika was burnt at Tundikhel in Kathmandu at 5:30 am today. The wooden pole, which was buried in Basantapur for a religious ceremony, was taken to Tudikhel and burnt. There was also a security team when it was carried to Tundikhel. Crowds of people had gathered at Tundikhel to collect the ashes of the wood.
