Govt committed to friendly relations with all: FM Gyawali

Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has said that Nepal is committed to maintaining friendly relations with its neighbours and other countries in the world.

Speaking at the 73rd-anniversary function of Nepal Council of World Affairs on Monday, Foreign Minister Gyawali said that relations with both India and China were becoming more cordial as of late, and Nepal commits to not allow any activities against any of its neighbours to take place in its territory.

Nepal has also developed close and cooperative relations with its development partners and with destination countries for Nepali migrant workers.

On a different note, Minister Gyawali said that the government was committed to the democratic process, and fully trusted the constitutional system.

Chair of the Council Hemant Kharel, Secretary Bhuvan Pathak and other speakers shed light on the activities and approach of the Council.
