The rescue operation after the crash of Tara Air’s 9N-AET plane, in Mustang on May 31, Sunday, is completed with the hard work and coordination of the rescuers. As reported, the rescuers had reached Sansare hill on foot of Manapathi Himal in Thasang village.

They were able to reach the scene and collect the bodies of 22 victims who had died in the crash, despite geographical difficulties and bad weather. The site is located at an altitude of 4500 meters above sea level.

Locals as well as Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and other rescuers went to the spot for rescue. They were able to reach the site after a local reported the crash. However, the rescue mission was not easy due to the rain. Rescuers were able to collect 17 bodies Monday. And on Tuesday, all 22 bodies had been collected.

Nine mountain guides from the Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) were in the rescue team.
