In the meeting of the House of Representatives, it has been demanded that the title of the Ministry of Finance be removed from the agenda after the question was raised that the tax rate was manipulated before the budget was prepared.

 Chief Whip of the CPN (UML), Vishal Bhattarai, urged to remove the discussion agenda of the Ministry of Finance from the agenda as such serious questions have been raised about the budget.

 “After the question of such a serious issue has been raised, the discussion of the Ministry of Finance should be removed from the agenda,” he said.

 After the demand of the Opposition MPs, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota conducted the meeting stating that the issues raised by the MPs have been taken seriously.
