Nepali climbers on top of Mt. Elbrus: First Post Covid

Elbrus summit expedition successfully accomplished by the team of Seven Summit Treks. Mingma Sherpa , Pasang Phurba Sherpa, and Thaneswar Guragai climbed Mt. Elbrus (5642m) this morning at 6.30 AM Local Time. This is the first Nepalese expedition after the Covid -19 pandemic to Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe.

With the successful ascent of Mt. Elbrus, Mingma Sherpa is one short of completing all the highest 7 peaks of 7 different continents, Carstensz Pyramid being the remaining peak to be climbed.

Likewise, Pasang Phurba Sherpa has completed 2 out of 7 peaks (Mt. Everest and Mt. Elbrus) and is also on a pursuit to climb all 7 summits.
