Since his childhood, LaMa, a traveller and musician, has enjoyed singing and composing. “I don’t say singing is my career, but it is a passion and pleasure of mine.” He recently published the song ‘Khilba Sem,’ which is a Tamang word for an inquiring heart. “I release songs once a year that are all about my trip adventures,” he continues.
His most recent song is about his trip trekking in Khumbu last February. “I noticed a man carrying a large basket of oranges to sell. It was the bad weather that inspired me to write the song,” he says.
