Rama Singh, the first captain of the Nepali women’s national football team, said that Nepali women players should be encouraged as much as possible to perform properly in the SAFF women’s championship that is to be held in Nepal. In an interaction held today at the Nepal Sports Journalist Forum, Singh talked about how Nepali women athletes should be provided with the necessary resources and encouraged.
After the International Football Federation (FIFA) banned India’s Football Association, the first captain Singh said that although Nepal’s chances in the SAFF women’s championship have increased, success will not be achieved unless the players are encouraged.
