CPN-UML candidate Manbir Rai has won the House of Representatives election from Solukhumbu.
He defeated Bal Bahadur KC of the Nepali Congress on behalf of the ruling coalition by a margin of 2,779 votes. While Rai got 19 thousand 324 votes, KC got 16 thousand 545 votes.
