Shrestha’s book on Nepal-Bangladesh relations hits bookstand

A book entitled ‘Nepal-Bangladesh Relations’ by diplomat Hiaranya Lal Shrestha has been published.

The book published by the Nepal Academy was availed in the market on the eve of President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s state visit to Bangladesh.

President Bhandari is visiting Bangladesh from Monday for a two-day state visit at the invitation of President of Bangladesh, Md Abdul Hamid.

 The book delves into various issues of bilateral ties, political party to party relations, connectivity, and energy supplies among other issues.

Similarly, the book has covered the issues of bilateral trade, economic, cultural and literary relations between the two countries and the roles of the two countries in regional and multilateral forums. The book contains eight chapters and 223 pages.

Former ambassador Shrestha has penned 33 books so far and most of them are related to international relations and diplomacy.
