A young man has been arrested for raping a girl in Rupandehi.

Police arrested 26-year-old Sanjay Pasi, a resident of Mahadehi, Marchwari Rural Municipality, on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl.

Sanjay was arrested by the police team from the local police office Majhgawa after receiving a complaint that he had forced the girl.

The police said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
