In the ICC U-19 World Cup Asia Cup Qualifiers, Malaysia has given Nepal a meagre target of 73 runs. After winning the toss, Malaysia elected to bat first and were all out for 72 runs in 35.3 overs.

Nepal defeated Singapore by 96 runs in the first match, Kuwait by 243 runs in the second match and Hong Kong by 9 wickets in the third match.
