The government had set a target of collecting more than Rs 11 trillion in total revenue in the current fiscal year. According to General's Office, they have collected revenue equal to Rs 10 trillion so far.
According to the office, out of the target of Rs. 1067.96 billion, Rs. 957.41 billion has been collected so far. This is 89.65 percent of the total target.
Out of the target of Rs. 59.91 billion for foreign grants, Rs. 13.88 billion or 23.17 percent has been received so far. There are two days left till the end of the current year. In the meantime, tax and non-tax revenue may increase further. The amount received by the government from all sources is 88.41 percent of the total target, according to the office.
