KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has declined by a modest percentage. Today, the capital market index decreased by 5.60 points to stand at 2,628.26 points, according to NEPSE.
In today's trading, 8,147,320 shares of 314 companies were bought and sold 49,421 times. The trading volume on NEPSE has been continuously decreasing in recent days. Today too, the trading volume has shrunk to Rs 4.27 billion 82 thousand.
Based on the transaction amount and the number of shares traded, the highest number of shares traded today was 171,486 shares of Janaki Finance Company Limited worth Rs. 155,923,286.
