US dollar reaches record value

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Wednesday).

The US dollar has reached its highest value on record today. In addition, the exchange rates for currencies such as the Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars have increased. On the other hand, currencies like the Australian dollar and the euro have become less expensive.

As per the rates published by Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar today stands at 135 rupees 47 paisa, with the selling rate at 136 rupees 07 paisa. This represents the highest value the US dollar has ever reached.

Previously, on Mangsir 20, the buying rate of one US dollar was 135 rupees 29 paisa, and the selling rate was 135 rupees 89 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one US dollar was 135 rupees 28 paisa, and the selling rate was 135 rupees 88 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for one euro today is 142 rupees 68 paisa, and the selling rate is 143 rupees 32 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one euro was 143 rupees 13 paisa, and the selling rate was 143 rupees 77 paisa.

The buying rate for one Pound Sterling today is 172 rupees 89 paisa, and the selling rate is 173 rupees 66 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for one Pound Sterling was 172 rupees 89 paisa, and the selling rate was 173 rupees 65 paisa.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar today is 86 rupees 65 paisa, and the selling rate is 87 rupees 03 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Australian dollar was 87 rupees 22 paisa, and the selling rate was 87 rupees 61 paisa.

The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar today is 440 rupees 51 paisa, and the selling rate is 442 rupees 46 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar was 440 rupees 29 paisa, and the selling rate was 442 rupees 25 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar today is 359 rupees 03 paisa, and the selling rate is 360 rupees 62 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar was 358 rupees 72 paisa, and the selling rate was 360 rupees 31 paisa.
