Communist Party of Nepal (UML) MP Krishna Gopal Shrestha has demanded the government immediately manage the garbage in the capital Kathmandu.
Speaking at today's meeting of the House of Representatives, he said that the people of the capital have been overwhelmed by the stench and garbage in Kathmandu for a long time and urged them to find an immediate solution. He said, “No road in Kathmandu has been littered. There are piles of garbage everywhere, so garbage must be removed immediately and the problem must be solved. ”
MP Shrestha demanded to address the demands of the people of Sisdol and Banchare Danda saying that the trend of not allowing the dumping of garbage has been repeated despite the agreement reached between the people's representatives. He said that the people of Kathmandu would not remain silent if garbage was not picked up. MP Shrestha demanded the official opinion of the government on the issue of garbage not being picked up in Kathmandu.
Similarly, MP Yagya Bahadur Bogati said that it was too late to bring the culprit to justice even two weeks after the murder of Binod Shahi of Achham. He drew the attention of the government through the speaker to bring the accused of murder to justice by the Achham administration. Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota said that he had drawn serious attention to the incident and directed the government to find out the facts of the incident and take action against the culprits.
