The traffic fines can be paid from the machine at seven different traffic offices in Kathmandu Valley. The Metropolitan Traffic Police has expanded the service to seven traffic offices to make services more technology-friendly, and convenient.
The branch has expanded its services to Gaushala, Koteshwor, Gatthaghar, Thapathali, Maligaun and Durbar Marg.
Chief of the Division, Senior Superintendent of Police Umesh Raj Joshi informed that the service has been expanded. He said that the service has been extended to various offices with the objective of making it easy and convenient for vehicle users to get their documents back by paying fines for violating traffic rules.
Prabhu Peka Chairman Kusum Lama said that since the fine can be paid by depositing cash directly in the kiosk machine, there would be no hassle. The traffic police have already implemented the service in the department.
