CPN UML leader Jhalanath Khanal is currently receiving treatment under oxygen support. He was admitted to Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali this morning.
According to the hospital, Khanal had been down with fever for the last nine days.
The hospital has issued a statement mentioning that the fever has come down a bit. The statement adds that since Khanal was feeling lethargic due to the fever for the last couple of days and was also having problems in breathing he was admitted to the emergency department of the hospital at 7:45 in the morning.
Norvic has also informed that Khanal has been shifted from the emergency room to the ward. He is receiving treatment in the ward through oxygen support. The hospital added that Khanal’s haemoglobin count is also low.
