The Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) Secretary Prem Suwal and Central Committee Member Surendra Raj Gosai on Monday handed over the health supplies received from the Communist Party of China (CPC) to Khwopa Hospital run by Bhaktapur Municipality.
The health supplies handed over to Mayor Sunil Prajapati included 15,000 N95 mask and five sets of hydrogen-oxygen generator machines worth Rs 11.5 million.
On the occasion, Suwal said that the CPC on its 100th anniversary of the establishment held virtual discussions with the political parties in Nepal to help Nepal in its fight against COVID-19.
He also stated that the health supplies assisted by CPC would be provided to different government and community hospitals in districts.
