A meeting has been held between the Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.
During the meeting held at the PM's residence in Baluwatar today, they discussed current political issues, said Govinda Pariyar, Press Chief of the PM. The major parties are debating whether the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) should be passed by the parliament for the last time in the country.
Similarly, after the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal on Monday decided to hold the local level election on May 13, the parties of the ruling coalition are also discussing at various stages about its preparations.
According to Koirala's secretariat, Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala met with CPN (Maoist) Chairman Dahal at his residence this morning and discussed issues including MCC and local elections.
