Nepalese Ambassador for United State of America Sridhar Khatri addressed the special session on “Review of celebration of 75 years of Nepal-US diplomatic relations and Going Forward, and the role of Nepali Diaspora “in Boulder, Colorado.
Highlighting the various aspects of the relationships between the two countries ever since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Ambassador Khatri viewed that the people-to-people exchanges is an important element in strengthening these relations.
During his address, Ambassador Khatri, recognizing Nepali Diaspora as the biggest asset of Nepal abroad, urged the Diaspora to channelize their skills and resources in various sectors of Nepali economy.
Daniel Edward, former Peace Corps volunteer to Nepal, presented a historical perspective of Nepal-US relations.
