A group of students from South Korea recently visited a school at Tokha, Kathmandu, for educational and cultural exchanges. The Asia Pacific School at Tokha and The Asia Pacific Society in Korea collaborated on this initiative, which took place on Thursday.
Tokha Municipality-6 Ward Chair Shanta Khanal Poudel who was also present on the occasion said she was hopeful that such type of events would be an opportunity to know about the education and cultural aspects of the diverse nations and the societies. Art, language and culture are the identities of a nation and such things were manifested by the event, according to the local representative who advised the school to give continuity to such events in the days to come.
On the occasion, it was shared that the Asia Pacific Society that was established in 1994 has engaged in various events with the students in Nepal since its inception.
Principal of Asia Pacific School and College Ramesh Ghimire promised to give continuity to the event in the days to come for enrichment of educational and cultural knowledge of students.
At the event, 18 students from South Korea and 55 Asia Pacific School students gave their cultural and educational presentations.
