Tibet earthquake: Thirteen injured in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Thirteen people were injured in Nepal after an earthquake struck near the Nepal-China border in Tibet.

Among them, 13 people were injured, including 1 in Kathmandu, 11 in Bara and 1 in Kavre.

All of them have been rescued and are being treated at local hospitals. Most of the injured have been discharged.

A person from Syuchatar jumped from the roof of his house as soon as the earthquake hit Kathmandu. He was injured in the process. He is being treated at Manmohan Memorial Hospital.

The tremors were felt more in the mountainous region of Solukhumbu than elsewhere.
