KATHMANDU: The country is presently being affected by westerly winds.
Currently, the weather in the hilly regions is partly cloudy, while the rest of the nation enjoys mostly clear skies.
The Weather Forecasting Division has also reported light fog in some areas of the Terai.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy in Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province, with the remainder of the country remaining mostly clear or partly cloudy.
There is a chance of light rain in one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, as well as light snowfall in some high hilly and mountainous regions.
Tonight, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces. Elsewhere, the weather will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear.
The bulletin issued by the Division in the morning also indicated the possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, along with light snowfall in some high hilly and mountainous areas during the night.
