Ace International Business School elevated practical learning to a greater direction by giving their sixth-semester students a specific assignment of planning an event independently. The students took the task sincerely and have planned the Ace- IBS festival to happen this Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Without administrative expertise, preparing an entire event is not simple. The fest, happening at the Central Courtyard of Chhaya Complex, Thamel, will begin from 11 am and will go on till 6 pm. The event includes numerous attractions and services such as food stalls run by both students and other eateries, exquisite beverages, a fantastic runway showcase and a flash mob to ensure that the audience is occupied.

Despite having such crowd-pleasing features, performance by the college's young talented vocalists, accompanied by the three special performers Oasis Thapa, Aakash Khadka, and Sushant Ghimire from Garage Entertainment, will be the fiesta's primary attraction. With their calming tones, they will undoubtedly set the mood for everyone.

Organizing an event like this, takes a lot of hard work, dedication, time and collaboration with each other. Prinsha Tuladhar, a student and an organizer of the fiesta says, "We organized this event as part of our assignment, but for most Ace- IBS students, it was their first and biggest event". The students worked harder as they aimed to make it big enough to leave an impact on those who attend. Their vision is to create an enjoyable environment for both college students and outsiders as well. "We have worked extremely hard to make this vision a reality", Tuladhar adds.

The faculty at Ace International Business School are incredibly proud of the young students for putting together this event so professionally. Milina Tamrakar, Director of BBA is delighted to see students planning business and marketing strategies to carry out their projects. "Everyone is eagerly anticipating about the event. It isn't just entertainment but also a practical education as well," says Tamrakar.

"The Ace- IBS Fiesta, is much more than a fiesta," says Neha Shrestha Amatya, a faculty member. In addition to their academic information, students who organize events get practical expertise as part of their coursework. Their efforts to organize such a sizable festival filled with various activities will educate them beyond what they learn in the curriculum. “Looking at the students' commitment and teamwork, I am confident that the AceIBS Fiesta will go down in history as a memorable occasion", she adds.

Everyone at Ace International Business School, including faculty and staff, event organizers, and fellow students are very ecstatic about the event. All of them have lofty expectations for the event. Chhyoisang Moktan, a student at Ace says, "When I got to know that the entire event is really being handled solely by the seniors without assistance from the campus administration, I was highly intrigued." He believes that the organizers deserve praise for efficiently managing and arranging the fest in a limited amount of time. He further adds, "I am confident that somehow this fiesta will be a lot of fun and a hit."

Yash Hada, a student who will be performing at the Ace- IBS Fiesta shared how he is feeling both nervous and delighted to be performing this Saturday. He, who will be singing, dancing as well as walking in the fashion show says, "seeing the way our seniors, the event coordinators, are pulling off this exciting event within such a short time frame has given me a lot of positive encouragement of doing it again in the future".

Similarly, Garv Lal Vaidya, a student taking part in the flash mob addressed his respect towards his seniors for organising an event like this and says that he is incredibly proud of them. He ensures that the fiesta will be a complete hit and encourages everyone to attend. "I am very eager for Saturday's event and hope to see as many people attending as possible", he says.
