The Chhaya Center in Thamel, a major tourist area of the capital, will provide free toilets to the public. Expressing solidarity with the Kathmandu Metropolitan City's 'Free Toilet' campaign, the Center has provided all the 12 toilets inside the commercial building free of cost to all.
Director of the Chhaya Center and senior tourism entrepreneur Suman Pandey said that free toilets have been provided for the convenience of foreign tourists as well as the general public. He expressed his gratitude to KMC Chief Balendra Shah, Deputy Chief Sunita Dangol and all the 32 ward chairpersons and members for joining the campaign.
"We would like to inform you that the Chhaya Center, Tourist Business Complex at Thamel-26 has decided to participate in the campaign of free toilet service announced by Mayor Shah," said a statement issued by the center.
