There are times in life when we all are looking for some motivation, and Tamang felt the same way. From wanting to motivate himself through the career even though he was not professionally trained, to keep trying out new things, he tried his best.
So, when he saw a video of an international body painter, he instantly knew what he wanted to do.
Tamang says, “I loved the thought of using our body as a canvas. But the colors and products that I had were not enough for body painting. I still tried my best and in 2020 I completed my first art, which took almost 9-10 hours.”
When asked about his basic makeup process, Tamang explains, "Basically for the daytime, I start with a toner, after that I use moisturizer, then sunscreen. Then I use a primer and apply foundation on my face.”
“I don’t use any concealer in the daytime because it makes my makeup look cakey. After that I use face powder and at last I contour my face to give it a shape. I also use lip tint,” Tamang adds.
Tamang’s skincare routine is very simple and easy.
He believes in ‘Little goes the long way’, as he does not use varieties of face products or samples.
“Recently, I’ve started using Vitamin C serum but only at night. As I’m stepping towards my adulthood, I thought I should start using it to nourish my face”, says Tamang.
Tamang's ultimate goal is to bring the makeup, body painting market into the light so that in future, no one has to give up their passion.
“The journey as a makeup artist and a body painter has been very wonderful. I never expected to be supported and loved by the audience. I am so happy that everything turned out well”, says Tamang.
