One person was killed and four others injured after a helicopter crashed in Sankhuwasabha district of eastern Nepal on Friday afternoon.
The helicopter hit a tree when it was airlifting goods for the Upper Arun hydropower project and was approaching landing.
"One person working for the hydropower project died while four others were injured in the fatal crash. The person died while being taken to a local hospital," Mohan Mani Ghimire, assistant chief district officer stated.
"All the injured have been taken to Kathmandu for further treatment," he added.
On April 9, a cargo helicopter crashed in Mt. Dhaulagiri area with no casualties.
