Myanmar authorities have seized 16.32 kg of illegal drugs in the eastern state of Shan, according to the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control.
Acting on a tip-off, anti-narcotic police intercepted a carton box to be carried to Yangon at Tachileik Airport on Sept. 7 and confiscated 7.8 kg of Happy Water.
On the same day, according to the interrogation, 8.52 kg of the drugs were discovered in Tachileik town.
Four suspects were arrested for the cases, the committee said on Thursday.
The suspects were charged under the Southeast Asian country's Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
