Nepal recorded a total of 16 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Thursday.
Of the confirmed cases, 9 cases were detected through the RT-PCR and 7 from the Antigen method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of the total samples 614 were tested through RT-PCR and 1,223 through the Antigen method. Currently, there are 563 active cases in the country as 13 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
