Lumbini Province Chief Minister (CM) Kul Prasad KC has said that the provincial government has considered the children's inclusion in the vaccination programme.
Saying the constitution has defined health as the first right of the people, CM KC shared that the province government should ensure vaccine against COVID-19 to all the children.
Lumbini CM expressed this view of vaccinating children while addressing a programme organised to hand over the health supplies provided by Pratiman Chandra Bohara Foundation, Bhairahawa, to Lumbini Province to combat COVID-19 pandemic.
On the occasion, the CM said that contribution of social worker and politician Pratima Chandra Bohara was significant in social and political change. He also thanked the foundation for its support to Lumbini Province to fight against the pandemic and assured of collaborating with the Foundation.
Similarly, former Minister and Chairperson of the Foundation, Deepak Bohara, said that the Foundation is actively working in the social service sector within the aim and purpose of the Foundation. He added, "We will always head towards the path of social service shown by my father.
"He further stated that the foundation will always help the helpless and poor people."
The Foundation had provided 14,000 facial masks, 3,000 K 95 masks, 32 digital thermometers, 580 PPE sets, and 166,000 gloves, among others.
