KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) president Rabi Lamichhane’s interrogation and statement recording concluded for today. He is giving his statement at the Government Attorney's Office in Kathmandu and his statement is set to be extended further.
Lamichhane, who was brought to Kathmandu from Pokhara on Thursday evening, will remain in Kathmandu until at least Monday as his statement has not been completed. After the statement is completed, he will likely be returned to Pokhara tomorrow.
Rabi had previously given his statement last Friday. He was arrested in Kathmandu on November 2 in a cooperative fraud case, is currently being questioned in connection with the embezzlement of funds from the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative in Lalitpur.
