The vaccination campaign in Manang district has been affected due to snowfall, according to Chief of Manang District Health Office, Badri Acharya.
The hilly and mountainous region had recently witnessed heavy snowfall following the impacts of the westerly low-pressure system.
The snowfall has affected the campaign at Upper Manang and Narpabhumi rural municipality, shared Acharya. Acharya added the vaccination campaign would resume once the weather improves.
The normal life of Manang has been hit hard due to snowfall. Chief District Officer Rabindra Prasad Acharya urged the Manang folks and tourists not to come out from homes to keep them safe.
