KATHMANDU: Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Nepal Police Office assistant in Bara.
Rajkumar Rumba, an assistant at the Police Office, Simara and currently working as an airport security guard in Simara, was killed.
His body was found inside a car on December 21. Rumba's body was found inside an electric car (number 01-028 Cha 7616) on the road section from Bakulia to Ramauli Losanda in Jitpur Simara Sub-metropolitan City-11 of Bara.
Three people, including an inspector of the National Investigation Department (Intelligence), have been arrested in connection with the murder of a police assistant. Those arrested have been identified as Purushottam Kumar Das, 27, of Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City-19 in Bara, and Indrajit Kumar Chauhan, 20, of the same place.
DSP Prakash Sapkota of the District Police Office, Bara stated that they have extended the necessary investigation by taking them on a 7-day remand from the district court.
