A person died in a vehicle accident in Shuddodhan Municipality of Kapilvastu. The accident happened when the bus hit the tractor and a bicycle as well. Bind Kumar Kahar, a cyclist who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at the hospital. Out of the 6 passengers on the bus, 2 were injured and are being treated at the hospital.
Similarly, a pedestrian died after being hit by a scooter in Sundarharaicha municipality of Morang. Purna Bahadur Gurung is among those who died. Gurung, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at Nobel Hospital Biratnagar. The police have arrested the scooter driver.
