Two people died in separate road accidents in Sarlahi.
At 8 o'clock on Friday night in Jagatpur, Chandeshwar Choudhary, who lives in Haripur municipality 8, died. Chaudhary, a bicyclist, was seriously injured when a vehicle that was going from Manlagwa to Nawalpur on the Nawalpur Manlagwa road section, hit him.
Sarlahi Police Spokesperson DSP Vijay Yadav informed that he died on the way while he was being taken to Birgunj for further treatment after Malangwa regional treatment was not possible.
According to him, the body has been kept at Malangwa Hospital, Sarlahi for post-mortem. District Police Office Sarlahi said that they have taken control of the vehicle and the driver and are conducting further investigation.
Similarly, 30-year-old Roshan Yadav, a resident of Dhanushadham Municipality-3 of Dhanusha, died in an accident on Friday night at 10:30 pm on East-West Lokmarg, Ishwarpur Municipality 12, Sarlahi.
He was seriously injured when his motorcycle which he was driving from west to east, went out of control and met with an accident.
DSP Yadav informed that he died during treatment at Malangwa Provincial Hospital.
Yadav was working as a sub-engineer in Sarlahi's Lalbandi municipality.
