Two people died and one person was injured in a motorcycle accident in Bara.
23-year-old Kasim Ansari and 22-year-old Tahid Ansari, residents of Simraungarh Municipality-1 Bairia, died in the accident. Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajesh Thapa informed that their bodies were found in Thalhi river during the search.
22-year-old Guddu Ansari of Bairia sustained minor injuries in the accident. The police said that he is resting at home as he has only minor injuries on his body. All three of them were riding in the same motorcycle.
At 9 p.m. on Sunday, a Pulsar motorcycle, which was going from Gadhimai to Srinagar, went out of control and fell under the bridge in Mahagadhimai municipality-9 Thalhi bridge.
Guddu, who was injured in the accident, informed his relatives at home about the motorcycle accident. The police said that they got the information about the accident only at 2 am on Monday. When the police team arrived, the motorcycle was found in the Thalhi river.
During the search, Qasim was found lying dead on the bank of the river 2 km south of the incident site at 9 am, the police said.
Similarly, Tahid's body was found in the middle of the river 100 meters south of the bridge at 12:50 pm, according to District Police Office Bara.
