The government is to provide 50 units of free electricity to domestic consumers. This is an increase of 30 units to the current provision of 20 units to such consumers.

The government plans to provide 50 units of electricity per month during the rainy season and 30 units per month during the winter for free for domestic consumption.

Energy development has been included with importance in the common minimum program announced today.

Similarly, the government plans to increase the economic growth rate through the expansion of electricity production while reducing the dependence on fossil fuels, promoting industrialization of the country, and improving the environment through the use of renewable energy.

The goal in the next five years is to increase the power generation capacity to 6,500 megawatts and per capita electricity consumption to 700-kilowatt hours.

The civil registration fee is to be waived

Meanwhile, the federal government is to remove all civil registration fees charged, currently charged at the local level. The government is planning to remove the fees charged for all civil registration works such as birth, death, marriage registration, etc.

The common minimum program outlines the government's clear plan to introduce a national identity card to wipe out the hassle of submitting documents including citizenship to different offices and to strengthen the citizen app while ensuring a provision to provide all other types of services digitally.
