Chief Minister of Bagmati Rajendra Prasad Pandey has said that significant works are being done under his leadership to make the state prosperous.
Addressing the 10th session meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly today, Chief Minister Pandey said that the government was working to start kidney transplantation at Hetauda Hospital. He mentioned that cooperation is being made with Bhaktapur Human Organ Transplant Center.
Chief Minister Pandey said that the state government was working for the institutional development of both Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences and Hetauda Hospital. He mentioned that work is underway to develop Hetauda Hospital as a hospital with a capacity of at least 300 beds. Similarly, 12 and a half bighas of land has been arranged in Hetauda for the Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences with the approval of the Central Government, he said.
Significant work is being done to improve the transport sector by setting up a trial center, its full operation and issuing driver's certificates by encouraging the employees working there, said Chief Minister Pandey. He said that the state government has already passed the procedure to implement the technology of paying electric fare in public transport
Chief Minister Pandey said that the government has made arrangements to provide compensation to the locals by passing the procedure for determining the compensation for the problems seen in the Bhanse-Bhimphedi road expansion and they will get the compensation soon.
Five ordinances have been introduced in the Bagmati Provincial Assembly today. Five ordinances have been introduced by the state government in the first meeting of the tenth session of the state assembly starting today. It has been introduced in the House as the most urgent act was brought through an ordinance during the tenure of the government.
Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Krishna Prasad Khanal presented the ordinance to amend the Vibhushan Recommendation and Honors and Medals Act, 2076 BS and Minister for Health Nima Lama introduced the ordinance to amend the Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences Act, 2076 BS.
Similarly, Youth and Sports Minister Ratna Prasad Dhakal presented an ordinance to amend the Provincial Youth Council Act, 2076 BS. Similarly, the State Civil Service Ordinance, 2078 BS and Local Service (Formation and Operation) Ordinance, 2078 BS have been introduced in the Parliament. In the second meeting held today, Finance Minister Shalikram Jammakattel also presented the pre-budget for the coming fiscal year. Speaker Sanukumar Shrestha adjourned today's meeting till the next meeting.
