The chemical fertilizer (urea) imported illegally from India has been sent to the revenue investigation office, Butwal.
Six hundred and fifty sacks of chemical fertilizer imported illegally from an Indian company were found stored in a shuttered room here last Saturday.
A team including a representative from revenue investigation office, chief of taxpayers' service office, and Sub-Inspector of Police from District Police Office, Palpa sent the chemical fertilizer by investigating into the booty.
The urea fertilizer was kept in a shuttered room given in rent by a local Bijay Shrestha from Rampur-5.
The investigation was conducted under the coordination of Deputy Mayor of Rampur Municipality, Bal Kumari Thapa, after none appeared to claim the chemical fertilizer. There was no owner nor had any documents.
Each sack weighs 45 kg. On Saturday morning itself, 372 sacks of chemical fertilizers were confiscated from Hugi of Rambha Rural Municipality while being supplied illegally.
