The government of Nepal has decided to stop the decision made by the thematic committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and to keep the subsidy given fertilizers.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar on Monday morning decided to keep the subsidy on chemical fertilizers unchanged.
Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication, Information and Technology Rekha Sharma informed that after a detailed study, the meeting decided to make it more systematic and scientific after a detailed study.
Earlier, the Fertilizer Supply and Distribution Management Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development had decided to cut the subsidy given to chemical fertilizers. After Monday's Council of Ministers meeting, the subsidy and price of chemical fertilizers will also remain the same.
