Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi returned home today after completing a three-day visit to Nepal.
Foreign Secretary Bharatraj Poudyal, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hu Yanchi, Chief of Staff Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi, Foreign Ministry and senior officials of the Chinese Embassy here bade farewell to the Chinese special guest at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Foreign Minister Wang, who was visiting Nepal at the friendly invitation of Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka, arrived here on Friday leading a 19-member delegation.
During his visit to Nepal, the Chinese Foreign Minister met President Bidhyadevi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, former Prime Ministers KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' separately. During the visit, a delegation led by the Foreign Ministers of Nepal and China held bilateral talks on Saturday and officials from both countries signed nine agreements on enhancing mutual cooperation.
