Nepali Congress candidate has won for the post of Dhanauji village chairman and vice-chairman of Dhanusha. Rajkumar Sah has won the post of chairman with 2,262 votes while Ramwati Devi Mandal has won the post of vice-chairman with 2,430 votes.
Sah's rival Jiveendra Jha of Lopsa got 2,162 votes and his closest rival Ranjita Devi Mandal of LOSPA got 1,901 votes, said Election Officer Poshraj Khanal. There are 13,685 voters in the village municipality which has five wards.
Similarly, Janata Samajwadi Party and Nepali Congress have won for the post of chairman and vice-chairman of Janakandani village municipality of Dhanusha respectively. Dipindev Yadav of Jaspa got 3,158 votes for the post of president and Kamala Sehgal of the Nepali Congress got 2,998 votes for the post of vice-president. Yadav defeated Sudesh Kumar Chaudhary of Nepali Congress by 380 votes while Sehgal defeated Geeta Sudi of Jaspa by 158 votes. There are a total of 16 thousand 633 voters in the village municipality which has 6 wards.
