Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Saturday released a memoir on Bhairab Singh Rawal.
The memoir includes the political life and other parts of politician late Bhairab Singh.
On the occasion, NC President Deuba recalled Rawal's efforts to unite the stakeholders for the overall development of Sudurpaschim including Achham district.
Deuba also said that Rawal played a crucial role in establishing Achham as a separate district in Sudurpaschim.
Likewise, Deuba stated that Rawal's role in the country's political movement and transformation for the cause of democracy was praiseworthy and urged the NC cadres to move forward in the path shown by Rawal.
Also speaking at the programme, Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prakash Saud said that the country could achieve prosperity in a short span of time given that political stability, clear perspective, peace and needed human resources were ensured.
Similarly, NC's chief whip at the parliamentary party Ramesh Lekhak argued that late Rawal established himself as an exemplary personality due to his struggles for the cause of democracy.
Editor of the book Dhananjay Timilsina and senior journalist Purushottam Dahal and other speakers shared about the contributions made by late Rawal on social reforms.
Rawal, who passed away 11 years ago, was born in 1982 BS and had served as the NC district president in Achham for a long time.
