Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokhrel has said that the government will pay attention to contain Covid-19 in the country.
Assuming the office after taking oath of office and secrecy on Friday, Pokhrel said that the government’s entire focus now will be centered on treatment of Covid-19 patients and prevention and control of the virus. “Now, we will be centered on treatment of corona virus infected ones, management of health equipment and hospitals, and to encourage doctors and health workers,” according to the DPM and coordinator of Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre (CCMC).
Stating that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli also reiterated his commitment to free the people from the corona virus crisis while assuming his office, the DPM urged the citizens to support in the government’s initiative.
