Drinking water project will be implemented in Changunarayan Municipality of Bhaktapur. A drinking water project worth Rs 80 million is to be implemented in Changunarayan Municipality-9 Tathali Chapatol.
Municipal Chairman Ganesh Tyat informed that a plan is being worked out through the local consumer committee to make drinking water easily available for the local community.
He expressed confidence that the Consumers' Committee would expedite the work of the scheme launched today successfully. The people of Tathali Nalachhap have been suffering from various drinking water related problems for a long time.
Chairman of the Consumers' Committee Rajendra Thapa said that the scheme has been launched to provide easy access to drinking water to the people of Tathali Nalachap who have been facing drinking water problem for a long time. He said that necessary budget allocation should be made from the ward and municipality for the scheme.
